Eyeballs and Bunnies

I’ve been a crocheting fool here lately   I say that like that’s a bad thing HA!  Anyhoo, I finished up an order for a  Voodoo JuJu Bunny, another Zom-Bunny and made up a cute Buster Brown Bunny.  I’ve been working on increasing my stock of eyeballs and have started working on the Elephant I blogged about earlier.  The guy decided he wanted a Zombie Elephant so I’m super excited about this one!  Ideas have been flowing…

No Eyes and Two Half Monkey-keys

Things have been super duper busy on this end trying to play catch up at my “real job”.  I lost whole other day yesterday because of a meeting (but it was a fun meeting, so I don’t mind lol).  The promotion company my husband and I run has also picked up for the summer so I’m trying to get all my ducks in a row for that as well.  Needless to say, I’ve had very little time to crochet…and believe me I’m starting to go through withdrawals eek!

I have another Voodoo Juju doll complete (sort of…I need to bake and attach a couple of eyes on him) and two halves of Monkey-key’s complete.  I know two halves sounds kinda crazy but I started one Monkey-key with the cotton yarn in my stash and ran out.  Then I started another one with multicolored acrylic yarn and just haven’t found the time to complete him *humph*!

I plan on running to the craft store this evening to pick up more cotton yarn & I WILL COMPLETE at the very least one project tonight…if not all three that have already been started

Voodoo Juju

On my last trip to the craft store I decided to buy a couple of skeins of 100% cotton yarn (which I hardly ever work with).  I usually use acrylic yarn for my amigurumi creations.  When I had a chance to examine the yarn I decided that it would work PERFECTLY for a voodoo doll.  So I’d like to take this time to introduce Voodoo Juju :

His eyes are handmade polymer clay buttons and he is embellished with blood red thread.  As always more pics can be found in the gallery
