Bizarre Holiday on Main / Stocked Up Space

I can finally confirm that CultGrrrl Creations will be at the Bizarre Holiday on Main market in Houston on Sunday, December 11th between 11-6.  More detailed information on the location can be found here.  I will FINALLY be able to reveal my new surprise design at this market, so there is your incentive to go HA!

I also was able to make it out to Space Montrose to re-stock my “inventory” at the store.  I dropped off a Frankie Stein, Baphy Goat, Monkey-key, Cthulhu (w/ glow in the dark eyes) and a Pink Voodoo Bunny.  There is also a Mummy & Heartbreak Harry Voodoo doll there as well.  As I’ve stated before this is one of the the most nifty stores for all your unique handcrafted eccentric gifts, so it is a MUST visit!

In Space Montrose

CultGrrrl Creations can now be found in the store Space Montrose [2608 Dunlavy St., Houston, TX 77081]  I’ve dropped off a few dolls yesterday but plan on taking quite a few more soon.  I ♥ love love love ♥ their concept of “An Exhibition Style Retail Experience”.  I highly recommend visiting the store for anyone wanting unique one of a kind pieces for themselves or to give as gifts.

Happy Birthday To Me =)

Tomorrow is my 36th birthday.  Most women hate to tell their age but I’m not one of them.  I’m fine with growing older and wiser HA!  I mean really…the saying does go “you’re only as old as you feel” right?  I have far too many things going on in my life to worry about a number.  Well in honor of my birthday week, I’ve decided to have a sale on the CultGrrrl Creations Etsy store   I will be offering a whopping 15% off, just by entering code BIRTHDAY upon checkout.  This sale will end on Friday, June 3rd so be sure to get something soon.

Four Death Dolls and A Monkey

This weeks project list includes four death dolls and a monkey   I’m shooting for these items to be completed by next weekend, at the very latest.  So far I’ve worked on the death doll’s scythes (as seen below) :

Hopefully life won’t get in the way of my projects here like it has been for the past month or so.

Five And Dime

I’ve decided to look at different avenues on where I could sell my amigurumi toys.  I’m thinking of signing up for a craft fair in October but if that falls through, I know for sure I will be selling items at a few different locations other than Etsy.  I know some people don’t like buying online because they want to see the craftsmanship on homemade items up close and personal, and I don’t blame them.

With all that being said, I really need to start building up my stock now.  You know how time flies when you’re having fun. I have so many ideas brewing on new designs, it’s crazy!  I can’t wait to get them rolling along
