Introducing Brown Beard Cyrus & Pink Monkey

As you may be well aware, I’ve been raising funds for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer these past few months / weeks.  I decided to make a Pink Monkey in honor the walk.  I sold these monkeys at the last fundraiser we held at That Pizza Place on Ella in Houston and a friend was kind enough to share a photo of her new found buddy

Because of my training for the walk (I will be walking 39.3 miles in a two day span) and trying to get my stock ready for the Houston International Festival, I have been a little behind on commissions :-\  I finally finished a beard beanie!  It came out super cute and I’m sure I will have to add these to my regular rotation of items (especially during the fall / winter seasons).  My son was kind enough to “model” off the beanie for me.  Introducing Brown Beard Cyrus…

Tiger [WIP]

I know things have been kinda quiet on this end amigurumi wise but I can assure you I’ve been super duper busy.  I’ve been working up quite a few requests while working up inventory for the iFest happening in April.  I had a request for a tiger and decided to use a pattern I found on Raverly rather than come up with my own design (just to make the process go faster).  I completely fell in love with the tiger’s mane and can not wait until it is complete.  Here is what I have so far

Mind you, this picture only has a partial mane and is being held on the head by a pin.  I should be finished within the next day or so.

Monkey-key

I finally finished the lil’ Monkey-key request   I am so very pleased with the way he came out and will definitely be making more of him in different colors!  Introducing Monkey-key:

Quick Update

I’ve been busy as a bee at my “real job”, so things here have slowed down just a bit   I just wanted to send a quick apology for anyone waiting on an animal.  I should be back on track within this week!  I’ve also come up with a few new designs that I’m pretty excited to get started on!  Hopefully they will turn out as good as I envision them.
