200 Plus Likes On Facebook & Contest Announcement

New Tags & Updates

Ordered some new tags for my creations.  I LOVE THEM!  They came out better than I expected, which is ALWAYS  a good thing

I’m working on a couple of new updates for the site, that should be up within this week.  Firstly, I will have pictures of the completed “The Witch” design.  Accompanying this will be a new crochet pattern on how to make her cauldron.  I really want to try out the new video camera my husband got me for my birthday so I may even go as far as making a video tutorial for the pattern (but we’ll see how that goes). 

I’ve also gotten a request for a zombie bunny.  Can’t wait to get started on that one!  The person who requested it said she wants it to hang from her mic stand…how fun!!

Getting There

So of course, as I thought, life was going to get in the way of my crochet time   I was hoping to have my four death dolls and a monkey complete by Friday of last week but as you can tell by my lack of posts, that didn’t happen.  I did complete one death doll (but I’m still waiting 24 hours for the glue on his scythe to completely dry) and I’m halfway finished with the monkey.  That one is coming out VERY cute!  I might even add a banana to it for good measure

I got a request for some hackey sacks that I can’t wait to really focus on.  I have the idea and design, it’s just a matter of finding the time to get them done.  Also on the list is an evil clown.  That one is going to be MAJOR fun to work on!

Introducing Marie Mudbug

Today is the official start of crawfish season at one of my favorite eateries (SRO’s Sports Bar & Grill).  My niece, her best friend and myself find ourselves there at least once a week until the end of the season.  In honor of this years crop, I decided to make little mudbug dolls as a gift for my niece and friend.  I would like to say I came up with this pattern myself but sadly I didn’t.  You can find the free pattern at this location.

Introducing Roofus the Hound

I adapted Seraphine the Scapegoat’s pattern and came up with Roofus the Hound.  He is one cute little fellow, if I may say so myself
